Hot Lunch Program

St. Martin offers hot lunch every day of the week except for Early Dismissal Days. Each lunch offers at least two choices for the main course.  Included in the hot lunch choices are salads, fresh fruit, desserts, milk, non-carbonated soft drinks and juice. There are many items for the students to choose from, see the price list for more details.

Note: Please make sure your child's hot lunch account is up-to-date! You don't want to jeopardize your child's ability to participate in Hot Lunch!

Program Description

The hot lunch program is administered by The Pasta Market.

You do not need to ever pre-order for the hot lunch program. Students are free to have hot lunch any day they choose. Here's how the program works.

  1. Create an account by depositing about $75-100 for your child by sending a check (payable to St. Martin) either to the school office or to the Pasta Market at:

    San Jose, CA 95157

    (Be sure to write your child's name and grade on the memo line.)
     
  2. Your child can get hot lunch any day of the week, as many times as they wish. Each time they purchase an item, the total amount is deducted from the balance in the account that you created.
  3. You can send in additional funds for your child's account at any time.
  4. Students will not be allowed any "grace lunch" if their account does not have any funds. Money must be deposited in their account for the student to have hot lunch.

Teachers and administrators can monitor the children to make sure they are choosing a balanced selection of foods for their lunch.
