Uniform Exchange Program
The purpose of the “uniform exchange program” is to recycle gently used uniforms within our school community to ensure that all students represent St. Martin school with pride.
Here is a brief overview of how the program is set up to function:
Gently used uniforms are turned into the school.
All pieces are inspected, inventoried and cataloged.
Parents browse the catalog for pieces needed.
Requests are made and the items will be sent home with your child.
All gently used uniforms that are in good, clean condition and meet the schools dress code guidelines will be accepted. This includes: boys and girls white shirts, sweaters, jumpers, skirts, pants, shorts, blue logo rain jacket, red fleece zip-up and PE uniforms. Clothing which contain rips, tears, stains or not within the schools dress code guidelines will not be accepted.
This is not a one for one exchange program. You are not required to turn in any clothing to participate. All items of clothing will be available on a first come first served basis. There is no limit to the numbers of request forms that you can submit within the school year.
Once your request has been received and filled, the requested items will be sent home with your child within 3-4 business days. If the items do not fit your needs, please return them to the school and they will be placed back in available inventory. Please be sure to fill out all information on the request form.
You may make a uniform request by filling out the Uniform Exchange Request Form. To see what is currently available check out the catalog (check back often as the inventory changes quickly). Please note that the Uniform Exchange request form and catalog may also be picked up from the office. All uniform requests must be in writing, please remember to add your email address in the event I might have questions regarding your request form.
Please remember to put your child’s name on ALL articles of clothing that your child wears to school. If you need any further information or have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
Thank you,
Nancy Delaney
